Randy Nelson Completes Muscle Energy Course Traverse City, November 14, 2005 - Randy Nelson, Physical Therapist at Grand Traverse Physical Therapy, has successfully completed the Muscle Energy Level 1 course given by the College of Osteopathic medicine at Michigan State University. The course offers advanced training in manual medicine as it relates to the use of muscle contraction as an activating force and is open only to doctors (M.D.s, D.O.s), dentists and physical therapists. Nelson's participation underscores his - and GTPT's - goal of promoting total body health and wellness and providing the most up-to-date rehabilitative techniques. Nelson was also recently elected to a two-year term as an alternative delegate to represent the Michigan Physical Therapy Association (MPTA) at national meetings and conventions.
