
As a graduate of Oakland University with a degree in Physical
Therapy, Randy Nelson has dedicated his entire career
to Orthopedic Manual Medicine, Manual Therapy, Sports
Medicine and Myofascial Release Therapy.
Prior to starting Grand Traverse
Physical Therapy, Randy practiced Physical Therapy
at The Fitness Center, North Sport and Excel
Rehabilitation Services. When he first moved
to northern Michigan, he worked with Gary Nedeveld & Associates
based out of Grand Haven, where he later became a
supervisor. In addition, Randy spent part of his
career as a physical therapist with St. Joseph Hospital
of Flint, Sports Care Specialist, Inc. of Troy and
Don Graham Associates of Southfield.
Randy has completed several manual
therapy courses including the Stanley Paris S1 and
S2, as well as the Myofascial Release I and II with
the Gorden Group. His primary course of treatment
is myofascial release techniques through John Barnes
P.T.
